Large dogs can be very harmful to a residential yard. The homeowner who prefers a well-manicured and nicely landscaped backyard is often told to avoid large bread dogs do to their destructive nature. Those who have multiple medium-size dogs face the same problem.

When wet, the yard is susceptible to being torn up from the dog’s paws sinking into the turf. Preferred run areas become trampled and vegetation free. Digging for moles/voles, or for just for the plain fun of it, can leave the yard looking like a minefield.

So are enjoying the companionship and love of a dog and having a beautiful lawn incompatible? No! US TR is an extruded polymer grid that will prevent your dog from damaging your lawn. In fact, a beagle rescue home in Ohio has used TR for this exact application with great success.

US TR is green in color and the grass will grow through the grid's apertures (openings) and form a root mass around the mesh filaments. After a few growing/mowing cycles, the area will soon resume its natural appearance and provide a stable surface that will withstand whatever abuse the dog throws at it.
