The Arkansas DOT follows AASHTO M-288 guidelines for their geotextiles. The Arkansas DOT specifications read: "Geotextile fabric shall be a woven or non-woven synthetic fiber fabric listed on the Department's Qualified Products List and complying with AASHTO M 288, as follows."
