Wyoming DOT has developed its own geotextile specifications. Included is a specification for Embankment & Retaining Wall Reinforcement that is confusing. It appears to specify a 315 pound, woven slit-film geotextile. You would not want to reinforce a wall with this type of geotextile. We think that perhaps this is for a geotextile face wrap on a wall or embankment? A geogrid such as our Strata Geogrids would be the appropriate product for reinforcing such a structure. Please use caution. Below are US Fabric's geotextile products that meet the Wyoming DOT geotextile specification, listed by their application.
