Propex Geotex 315ST US Fabric Equivalent is US 315

NTPEP APPROVED - GTX-2019-01-290. A woven geotextile fabric made of 100% polypropylene slit film yarns. US 315 resists ultraviolet and biological deterioration, rotting, naturally encountered basics and acids. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. US 315 will satisfy the requirements as outlined in AASHTO M-288-06 for Class 1 Stabilization & Separation applications and meets the following M.A.R.V. values except where noted:

Geotex® 315ST is a woven polypropylene geotextile containing heavy woven tape/fibrillated yarns produced by Propex® , and will meet the following Minimum Average Roll Values (MARV) when tested in accordance with the methods listed below. These characteristics make Geotex® 315ST ideal for the construction of embankments over soft soils, steepened slopes, and modular block and/or wrapped-faced retaining walls. The geotextile is resistant to ultraviolet degradation and to biological and chemical environments normally found in soils. Geotex® 315ST conforms to the property values listed below as well as meets the requirements set forth by AASHTO M-288/NTPEP (Geotextile Specification for Highway Application). Propex® performs internal Manufacturing Quality Control (MQC) tests that have been accredited by the Geosynthetic Accreditation Institute – Laboratory Accreditation Program (GAI-LAP).
