Lawn & Grass Drainage

AWD SITEDRAIN strip drains are an effective solution to reduce subsurface moisture in landscapes and lawns. The product is flexible and light weight. Standard fittings allow easy connection of rolls as well as to standard 4" PVC pipe, if needed. A 12" deep by 3" in wide trench is all that is required to install the product. A small trencher can be rented from your local hardware store. The drainboard is dropped into the trench, sand is placed in the first 6 inches around the drain and then the last 6" is filled with soil and then the top is seeded. 

Compare this with a traditional French drain that is several feet deep and wide, requires loads of drainage stone, perforated pipe and large rolls of geotextile drainage fabric. These require heavier machinery and an experienced contractor.
