Propex Geotex 106F US Fabric Equivalent is US 640

US 640 is a woven monofilament filtration geotextile made of 100% high-tenacity polypropylene yarns. US 640 resists ultraviolet and biological deterioration, rotting, naturally encountered basics and acids. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13. US 640 has a Percent Open Area of 6% and resists clogging. US 640 meets the following M.A.R.V. values except where noted:

Geotex® 106F is a woven monofilament polypropylene geotextile produced by Propex®, and will meet the following Minimum Average Roll Values (MARV) when tested in accordance with the methods listed below. The individual filaments are woven into a regular network and calandered such that filaments retain dimensional stability relative to each other. These characteristics make Geotex® 106F ideal for filtration beneath hard armor systems. The geotextile is resistant to ultraviolet degradation and to biological and chemical environments normally found in soils. Geotex® 106F conforms to the property values listed below. Propex® performs internal Manufacturing Quality Control (MQC) tests that have been accredited by the Geosynthetic Accreditation Institute – Laboratory Accreditation Program (GAI-LAP).
