»   StrataGrid is a flexible, high-performance line of biaxial geogrid products used in soil reinforcement and other civil engineering applications. These geogrids are constructed using high tenacity polyester yarns utilizing a complex knitting process and polymeric coating to provide superior engineering properties. StrataGrid is engineered to be mechanically and chemically durable, in both the harsh construction installation phase and in aggressive soil environments.

DESIGN ASSUMPTIONS AND INSTALLATION GUDELINES FOR ESTIMATING ONLY
»   Sand or crushed gravel used for the entire reinforced area.
»   Grid course layers no greater than 18" apart.
»   Grid embedment lengths a minimum of 75% of the wall height.
»   SGU60 typically used in walls no higher than 10'.
»   Grid roll direction installed perpendicular to the wall face only.
»   DO NOT overlap adjacent sections- butt the ends together.
»   For corners, move overlapping sections up or down a course to avoid layers laying on top of each other.
»   DO NOT splice geogrid. Embedment lengths must be continuous.
»   Always include a 6 inch drainage layer of clean stone at the front and running the entire height at the wall, fully wrapped in a nonwoven geotextile such as US 100NW. Daylight to a side or out the front of the structure.
»A qualified soils engineer should verify these assumptions before construction begins.
